Highlight Video - Cheerleading

Reflection - 8/21/14:

I really enjoyed this assignment. I love cheerleading; and being able to create a highlight video based on my passion was exciting! I started cheerleading in 7th grade, and cheered all through jr. high and high school. I then began coaching at both high school and competitive all star levels. In my spare time, I worked for an all star competition company which allowed me to travel all over the U.S. as a judge. I currently coach cheerleading for Olathe Northwest High School

In this assignment, I learned how to create a new event and project in Final Cut Pro. I was able to import video and select an "in" and "out" point which I dragged on to the timeline. I learned the blade tool for cropping on the timeline, and how to detach audio from my original video. I was able to import music and crop it to my video's length. I was then able to export my video and upload it to youtube. I finished my assignment by embedding my video to blogger.
